O'Keefe-Merritt "Agustina" 34.5"

$3,500.00

So sorry about the bedraggled looks of “Agustina” in these photos. We hope to update them soon.

If your kitchen is short on space, but you are big on style and features, this skinny version of a fantastically designed O/M is the way to go!

Let’s start with the beautiful and richly-featured backsplash: at the top, on either side of the distinctive O’Keefe-Merritt crest, are spaces for a pair of O/M salt and pepper shakers (available at extra cost). The cooking guide to the left and clock/4 hour timer to the right provide information and just the right amount of rounded style. Then there’s the surface light. While most other stove makers considered such an afterthought, THIS surface light exemplifies just how much thought the designers at O/M put into these stoves. Concealed beneath the lovely chrome shade, it illuminates the cooktop area no matter which of three positions the folding cover is in! Speaking of the folding cover…. You-Will-Love it! Securely locked in the “shelf” position, it holds plenty of cooking ingredients at your fingertips. With two quick flicks of the ingenious disappearing slide-locks, it folds out of the way against the back panel. But that’s not all, folks: the panels can lay down to completely cover the cooktop area for Zen-like clean looks. Look far. Look wide. No other manufacturer infused their products with such detailed style and utility.

BTW, the chrome to either side of the timer/light assembly is in unusually nice condition.

Lovely sculpted dials with chromed bezels control all burners. Both pairs of cooktop burners have easily removable (IE cleanable) drip pans, as well as super convenient pull-out crumb trays. Seated in the middle, the very useful griddle has it’s own thermometer and slide-out grease trap. No surprise…. The chromed tray handles actually add to the stove’s gorgeous looks.

The oven, below and to the right, has an auto-lighting safety system appropriate for natural gas (propane conversion available for extra cost). It’s classic speckled enamel surfaces and chrome wire racks are in great shape. Whether you’re making cookies, fruit cobbler or a standing rib roast, the quick-reference cooking guide on the door means you’ll hardly need a cookbook. Broiling a steak or veggies? The multi-level pull-out broiler directly below the oven does the trick.

A two-level storage space occupies the area to the left of the oven and broiler. It is not considered to be a “warming compartment”.

This size of ANY stove, not to mention an O’Keefe-Merritt, is very hard to come by. Don’t hesitate! Call us soon!
